Pink Evanescence emerged from the same turbulent period that shaped the Enduring Collection, yet it reveals a very different response to that energy. While earlier works in the series remain grounded in charcoal's darker atmosphere, this painting moves toward color, allowing vibrant pinks and luminous whites to rise from beneath the surface.

Two powerful swirling forms unfold across the canvas, suggesting emotion in motion—chaos transforming into something unexpectedly beautiful. Much of the original charcoal underpainting is intentionally veiled, replaced by brighter layers that soften the turbulence and allow a sense of lightness to emerge.

The circular rhythms of the composition echo a familiar gesture that has appeared throughout my work for years: bursts of energy expanding outward and eventually finding balance again. In Pink Evanescence, that movement becomes uplifting rather than heavy—a reminder that even in the most chaotic moments, beauty and renewal can surface.
