Meet the artist
I've been making things for as long as I can remember.
Art has always been part of my life. So has design. I became an architect, studied glass and welding, raised a family, and kept making—always observing the way light moves across a surface, the places where water meets land, and how time changes the world around us.
Eventually, all of those pieces began to come together.
Several years ago, I made the decision to give my art the space and commitment it had been asking for all along.
Today, I'm a contemporary abstract artist and registered architect, exhibiting my work around the country. My architectural background shapes the way I see composition, structure, light and space, while my art gives me the freedom to work more intuitively—with texture, movement, atmosphere and change.
Studio Muse is where those two parts of me meet.

Your paintings lead the eye through to tell the story, and the non-objective pieces also allow the viewer to 'get lost' in them through your use of color. They evoke strong emotions and I love that. That aspect makes me stop an enjoy them briefly every time I encounter one.
Jen uses texture and flowing colors to create a depth of movement and depth. There is a purpose to Jen's art but she allows the paintings and sculpture to evolve. It's a conversation between her and the art that we are blessed to witness.
I bought one of Jen's pieces because it genuinely makes me happy. Her technique has a dream-like quality - colors blend, drift, and flow together like mist - creating a feeling that's both soothing and alive. It's the kind of art that doesn't just decorate a space; It changes the atmosphere of it.
