The Cabin was one of two paintings—a right and a left—similar in spirit, yet each uniquely its own. Both are part of my Barn Series, exploring structures that age, weather, and become part of the landscapes they inhabit.
The series was inspired by the off-the-grid cabin my husband and I built. Isolated and dreamy, the cabin became a place of solitude and a deeper connection to nature. The Cabin reflects the beauty of that experience—the quiet, the simplicity, and the feeling of being completely at one with the landscape.
