Evanescence Study explores the turbulent forms that would later expand into the larger painting Pink Evanescence. Created during the same intense period that shaped the Enduring Collection, this smaller work captures two swirling energies beginning to emerge across the surface.

Working primarily with charcoal and layered acrylic, the forms move in circular rhythms—part chaos, part release. Bright passages of pink push through darker marks, hinting at the vibrant emotional transformation that would become central to the larger work.

As a study, the painting reveals a moment of discovery: the first exploration of movement, color, and energy that ultimately unfolded more fully in Pink Evanescence.
