Sculptures

"A Conversation Between Wood and Glass" is a mixed media upcycled sculpture series. Every piece of wood is hand-chosen based on eccentric characteristics. A mold is hand-made for each wood slab that mimics, mirrors or reflects the characteristics or growth pattern innate to each piece of wood. Upcycled tempered glass is then cleaned, SMASHED, and carefully loaded into the mold. The glass is then fired in a kiln until it's "right"! Some of the materials used for molds are included in the sculptures. I LOVE THESE SCULPTURES! They are so much fun! Please reach out if you have questions. THANKS
