Let me tell you about my process! Most of my work is done with large knives and spatulas. Not kitchen utensils, lol, but knives and spatulas made for painting. I love the way they move the paint! I have process videos on my Instagram and Facebook accounts if you are interested. I am very interested in movement, layering, translucency, rhythm, texture, and reactions. I am constantly trying new techniques and palettes. I use a lot of acrylic mediums in my work. (Mediums are add-mixtures of various consistencies which allow certain effects) My work is currently all abstract, modern, and contemporary. I was trained to do formal realistic painting and drawing, but I have a deep passion for modern art and architecture (for that matter) so that's what I do!
